The perfect companion to SAAS’s in-dash electronic Speedometer, the SG31650 Universal GPS Speed Sender can mate to any Speedometer, Odometer or Tachograph that requires an accurate speed signal (pulse) where there is the absence of a traditional VSS.

If you have an older vehicle that does not have a Vehicle Speed Sender (sometimes also known as hall effect), then it can be both difficult and expensive to find a suitable solution.

The SAAS GPS Sender provides a calibration free unit which uses data received from the Global Positioning Satellite network. It calculates 3-dimensional ground speed and provides a pulsed output with a high degree of accuracy.

You may need to check with your local authorities regarding using a GPS signal source as a sole source for speed.
